Once an item is out of stock, will you be getting more in?

Most of the time, stock will be replenished if out of stock, although lead times will vary per product. Click 'notify me when back in stock.' on the product page and you will receive an email notification once it is in stock and available to purchase.

Limited Edition items will not be restocked, and some items may be discontinued.

What if my return is lost or damaged?

Please note that we are not liable for any costs associated with your return, or for the loss or damage of the item/s on its return. Due to this, we suggest returning item/s via a tracked and signed for service and obtaining proof of postage, as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it.

We will only accept the return of item/s if sent back in original unused condition with proof of purchase; we reserve the right to reject items returned in an unsaleable condition, this includes any items with marks, stains or damages and items returned in unsuitable packaging.

I am purchasing on behalf of a client but they have received the incorrect fabric: what do I do?

Please contact fabrics@pennymorrison.com to advise the wrong fabric has been received. Where deliveries are made to third parties on the instruction of a customer, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct fabric is received. In the case of reversible fabrics, or where there may be some doubt, the correct face and pattern direction should be clearly indicated. We cannot accept claims for any make-up, installation or replacement charges where goods have not been verified.

Do you distribute fabric samples to the US?

Yes, we can send samples to anywhere! Order via the desired fabric page on our website, or head to your local US showroom.

Is there a shipping charge on accessories?

United Kingdom:

It is free shipping of accessories within the UK.

International:

All international orders will incur a shipping charge calculated based on volumetric shipping rates to all items purchased.

Is VAT included in the product price?

If you are shopping in the UK, VAT is included in the product price. You will see a VAT breakdown at checkout.

For international orders, VAT is not included in the product price. We do not cover duty and tax charges for overseas orders for Fabrics and Wallpaper. The customer will need to pay for this at their own cost. Duties and taxes are covered in US for Fabrics and Wallpaper. We do cover duty and tax charges for overseas orders for Accessories. They are covered in the shipping cost charged to customers.

What is a CFA?

A 'cutting for approval,' or CFA, is taken from a particular batch of fabric. Batches may differ slightly in colour, and dye lots can differ between shipments. A CFA order must be for a fabric order of a minimum of 5 meters.

What is the standard delivery time for wallpaper?

All wallpapers are print to order. Wide width wallpaper has a lead time of approximately 5 to 6 weeks from receipt of payment. Wallpaper by the roll has a lead time of approximately 2 to 3 weeks from receipt of payment. This is an estimated timescale and Penny Morrison Ltd cannot be responsible for late delivery by the printers. Shipping times will be in addition to this.

How have you chosen your stockists and showrooms?

Each showroom has been carefully chosen. Any time we are approached by a potential stockist/wholesale client, we consider their location and their client base. We try not to have multiple representatives in a similar area, and we choose showrooms with similar values to us.

Will all my orders ship together?

Orders will be shipped as and when we receive them. All orders are despatched from various locations. If shipped from the same location, we will endeavour to ship together. You will receive tracking for each order placed.

What if I am not happy with the fabric or wallpaper I have received?

Any complaints concerning the goods must be made in writing within seven days of delivery, otherwise claims cannot be considered. No claims shall be allowed after the fabric or wallpaper supplied has been cut, made up or installed. It is essential to check that the goods supplied are correct before proceeding.

How do I set up a trade account?

If you are wishing to open a trade account with us, and access specific trade prices, head to our trade area to submit our Trade Application Form. Our team will review within 2 to 3 business days and advise if your application has been successful.

Do your representative showrooms stock the entire Penny Morrison range?

Different stores stock different products based on what they have chosen for their client base. Contact or visit your local showroom to find out what they stock.

Is there a shipping charge on fabric and wallpaper?

United Kingdom:

Fabrics: All orders 10 metres and above are free of charge. All orders 9 metres and below will incur a shipping fee of £20 ex VAT.

Wallpaper by the roll: All orders are free of charge.

Wallpaper by the metre: As the minimum order is 15 metres, all wallpaper purchased by the metre is free of charge.

International:

All international orders will incur a shipping charge calculated based on volumetric shipping rates to all items purchased.

How does my shop/brand/showroom become a stockist for Penny Morrison?

What are the requirements to apply for a trade account?

We have a stringent process of ascertaining the 'trade qualifications' of clients in order for them to be approved as a trade account. Please refer to our trade account section of the website in order to find out more detail on what is required and how to submit your application.

How many metres of wallpaper should I order?

Please consider advice from a professional wallpaper installer to calculate the number of metres of wallpaper you may need to cover your walls.

All measurements for widths and repeats are approximate. In the interests of continual improvement, we reserve the right to modify specifications without notice.

We advise you to order an additional drop or 10% more than required (whichever is the greater) to allow for decorating errors and accidents.

Penny Morrison Ltd. cannot be responsible for errors in calculation.

How do I cancel my order?

If you have changed your mind and wish to cancel your accessories order before it has been despatched, please contact accessories@pennymorrison.com. However, if your order has already been despatched, you will need to return your items to us in line with our returns policy.

For fabric and wallpaper orders, once payment has been received, orders cannot be cancelled.

Do you offer discounts?

How do I order a fabric or wallpaper sample?

Simply find the fabric you'd like to order a sample of and select 'add sample.' You can choose between a swatch sample or a returnable sample.

Can I exchange my returned item/s for another item or a credit note?

We are unable to process returns for an exchange or credit notes. If you would like to exchange your item/s, you will have to place a new order for the preferred item/s and return the original to us.

What is the difference between US and UK lamp base fittings?

The US and the UK have different requirements for plugs, wiring, maximum wattage, and lamp fittings. We offer lamps that are fitted with fittings compatible either with US or UK requirements. It is also important to note that US and UK lamps require differing fittings/carriers to support a lampshade.

What is the difference between UK/EU and US lampshade fittings?

US lamps require a finial harp fitting to support a lampshade. UK and EU lamps require a shade carrier to support a lampshade. Find our lampshade size guide here.

Is your packaging sustainable?

It means a lot to us that our packaging is as sustainable as possible, whilst giving our products the best protection whilst on their way to you.

The vast majority of our packaging is recyclable or compostable, and we are constantly looking for new ways to improve, and develop our understanding of sustainable business practices.

What is a returnable fabric sample?

A returnable sample is a larger cutting that allows one to view the full repeat of the fabric. We ask that all returnable samples are returned after use.

Is it free to return items?

It is up to the customer to arrange and pay for returns. If you decide to return an item, the original shipping cost to you shall be refunded. However, we do not cover the cost of shipping the returned item/s.

What is your minimum order for fabrics?

Our minimum order quantity is one metre and only whole metres can be ordered.

What are the care instructions for your fabrics?

Performance fabrics are machine washable. All other fabrics are dry clean only.

Do you cover duties and taxes charges for overseas orders?

Tax and duties are included for all accessories orders.

Tax and duties are covered in the US for Fabrics and Wallpaper. For all other overseas orders, tax and duties are not included for fabric and wallpaper orders. These charges must be covered by the customer.

What is your minimum order quantity for wallpaper?

Due to all our wallpapers being printed to order, our minimum order quantity is 15 meters for wallpaper by the metre, and two rolls for wallpaper by the roll. Slight variances may occur between batches.

What is your returns policy for accessories?

If you wish to return accessories for any reason, you have 28 calendar days to return from receipt of purchase. The item/s must be in original packaging and resalable condition.

The right to cancel and return for a refund does not apply to the following: "personalised goods or goods made to a consumer's specification", this includes all bespoke custom orders either placed on the website or via email.

It is up to the customer to arrange and pay for returns. If you decide to return an item, the original shipping cost to you shall be refunded. However, we do not cover the cost of shipping the returned item/s.

Once we receive the return item/s we will process your refund, this may take up to 10 business days. All refunds will be processed via the same payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to process returns for an exchange, or credit notes.

You do not need to have an account to place an order. However, if you do decide to create an account, you will be able to view the details of all your past orders, your billing and shipping information will be saved.

How many fabric and wallpaper samples can I have?

Due to stock maintainence, we offer a limit of ten fabric and wallpaper samples per order.

What if my item is faulty/damaged when I receive it?

If your item is faulty or damaged, notify us within 7 calendar days of receiving the product by emailing either accessories@pennymorrison.com or fabrics@pennymorrison.com with images of the damage. We will look to remediate the issue as soon as possible.

Please note that majority of our products are handmade and as such there may be slight variations between products.

I saw something I liked on the website a while ago, but I cannot find it now. Where is it?

It is most likely that this product has either been discontinued or it was a Limited Edition item. We are regularly updating our product range, which sometimes includes discontinuing stock, but often involves releasing new products. Please contact us for more information.

Can I use my lampshade for pendant lights?

Yes! All of our Pembroke style lampshades from 14" base diameter and larger can be adapted for use as ceiling pendant shades. For UK lampshades, you will need to source a spider fitting instead of a shade carrier.

What is your returns policy for fabrics?

If you wish to return your fabric order for any reason, you have 28 calendar days to return from receipt of order. A restocking charge of 25% will be incurred for your return.We do not accept returns for excess/unused fabric or fabric that has been cut from the roll on which it was sent.
